With the bitmap monogram project I created a sleek modern yet bold monogram. Through the limitations of working on a grid, and exclusively black and white, I created a dynamic design that breaks foreground, and background barriers. I used the black to create the outline of the monogram keeping the text itself white, creating a stark and eye-catching contrast. I also utilized a variety of line weights to help bold the text, while still keeping it legible and sleek.
