The magazine layout design conveys a modern take on a vintage magazine layout. I achieved this by my use of color and text. The colors I chose are often found in vintage print outs, with toned oranges, blues and yellows set the atmosphere of the magazine, while taking colors from birds that are often found in Montana. The font choice further pushes the vintage vibe by utilizing a serif typeface for the title and headers matched with the orange color. The layout of the text keeps the reader engaged by the use of spot images to keep the text interesting, without breaking the legibility of the text.
